Customer-Focused Culture

In 2021, Tenaska Marketing Ventures (TMV) recognized its 30th anniversary. For 30 years, TMV has continually met its customers’ needs by providing responsive and reliable services in all types of market conditions.

Like Tenaska as a whole, as a private, independent marketer, TMV can be as patient or as agile as the market demands. In addition to Tenaska’s strong balance sheet, the company is backed by a $2 billion borrowing base credit facility that was increased and extended in March 2022 for another four-year term.

TMV’s strong physical asset platform, solid business plan and dedicated team of professionals has guided the business unit for 30 years and proved to be essential during the challenges of 2021. The team ensured that critical natural gas supplies reached customers and the communities they serve through extreme weather conditions. TMV’s volume of natural gas sold and managed equates to 10% of U.S. and Canadian natural gas demand. Natural gas supplies are playing an increasingly important role in maintaining reliable grid operations as markets and customers continue the gradual shift to more renewables-based generation.

With its strong reputation as an industry leader and customer-focused culture, TMV remains uniquely positioned to help customers navigate through the changes and challenges in the market today and in the years to come.
